- Champagne powder
- Long ski seasons and uncrowded slopes
- Fantastic for thrill-seekers and families
Ahh, Canada. Advanced skiers are spoilt for choice here with countless black and off-piste runs across the steep Rocky Mountains. And there’s plenty of lengthy vertical, too, with blues and greens meandering from peak to bar. Sub-zero temperatures aren’t unusual in Canada, but this means snow dumps are legendary and finding good powder shouldn’t be a problem from November to April.Off piste, you can skate at the foot of a glacier at Lake Louise, try your hand at axe throwing, and, if you're lucky, encounter a herd of moose or even a black bear. Truly, this is a winter holiday experience like no other.
